ABOUT USInspiring Impactful ChangeFounded in 2022, The Peacock House Art Foundation Inc. is working to put The Peacock Arts District of Fort Pierce on the map! We work with both private and public agencies to support the arts in Fort Pierce, by connecting artists from all over to resources and opportunities in our area. ![]() WelcomeIngrid & MargaritaAfter a successful and informative test run in 2024 with sculptor Maria Larsson, TPHAF has expanded its AIR Program. This year, we have welcomed on board two artists, Ingrid Grip and Margareta Fintling. Both ladies hail from Örebro Sweden, and specialize in clay sculptures and mixed media art. Ingrid studied at Örebro Art School, Kävesta, and Högskola; and she works primarily with oil & acrylic painting, ceramics, sculpture, photography, and prints. Margarita attended The Fine Art Foundation Örebro Art College and works primarily in clay, sculpture, book printing, and painting. To learn more about these gifted artists, visit our website or stop by our gallery. | ART ClassesTPHAF is proud to offer an after-school art education program for kids ages 9 - 16. The “Art Lab” will allow participants to experiment and explore the world of art, in all its forms. We’re starting off grounded in the basics: Oil/acrylic painting, charcoal and graphite drawing, clay sculpting, mixed media, etc. but will eventually include music, dancing, filmography, and sound recording. We will also be offering classes for adults, such as metal sculpture/welding, clay & pottery classes, metal embossing, stained glass workshops, acrylic pouring, and the culinary arts, just to name a few. Our class schedule and offerings can be found on our website. ![]() | ![]() Galleries & Gardens
Come visit any of our 3 galleries and art gardens. Our rotating gallery will feature the works of TPHAF members, artist-in-residence, and additional hand selected works. Our dedicated gallery features the work of Pat Cochran, a Fort Pierce based bronze sculptor. And our Art Lab gallery will feature work directly from the after-school program, combined with some additional inspiring works. We will also be offering tours of our extensive grounds and gardens, filled with statues, sculptures, art, and wildlife. In addition to all this, we will offer an art focused retail space for functional art, such as artistically upcycled furniture, handmade jewelry, art books & journals, etc.
